Today I saw a tweet that listed all the teams in MLS from most to fewest fans on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. The New England Revolution had the 5th fewest overall combines fans. This includes the two new MLS franchises.

I know the Revs are not that popular when compared to the Boston/Providence market that watches EPL every weekend, but I didn’t think it was that low.

I’m well aware of the issues around the Revs. Many fans feel burnt out by them, their transfer policies, and lack of big name star signings. How much longer will the Revs fly straight and not make splashes?
