So far in May the weather hasn’t played nicely with JetBlue operations at Worcester. There has been a total of 7 flights affected by weather by being diverted, cancelled, or flying out of BOS. This issue will certainly linger until the planned Category III ILS (Instrument Landing System) is installed at ORH. I think that the poor weather at ORH has has affirmed the point to prospective airlines (ie. Allegiant, American, Delta, United) that they will not fly into ORH unless the poor weather systems are upgraded. The improvements are certainly in the process of being completed but it will take several (3-5) years.
