For this current year and next, we only have the estimated (budgeted) costs for the DCU to the General Fund (tax-payers of Worcester):

  • FY 2017  $470,494
  • FY 2016  $490,164

For previous years we have the actual costs:

  • FY 2015  $904,118
  • FY2014  $1,013,536
  • FY2013  $499, 360

If the projections are right for FY2016 and FY 2017, the DCU will have cost the tax-payers in excess of $3.3 million dollars.   Lets hope someone will ask at the next Council meeting what the actual losses for FY 2016 are looking like?
