Today, I have decided to review LongHorn Steakhouse located on 70 Worcester-Providence Turnpike, Millbury, MA located in the Shoppes at Blackstone Valley. LongHorn is known for their fantastic steak, but everything else is appetizing as well.
In fact most of my family orders their marinated salmon with Kentucky Bourbon and always rave about it. LongHorn is in a perfect location because of the retail shops and movie theater surrounding it. What’s better then shopping all day and having a great meal?
For this review, I was able to interview one of the managers of LongHorn, Christian. Here are the 4 questions I asked him:
1. How Do You Make Sure Everything Runs Smoothly?
It takes a lot of proper planning ahead of time & organization.
2. How Big Is Your Staff Here In Millbury?
We have 72 employees
3. How Long Have You Been A Manager Here?
I have been a manager at Longhorns for 5 yrs & Chili’s for 9.
4. Do You Get To Help Create Meals?
Not often because it comes from our corporate headquarters
** Special thanks to Christian for letting us sit down and talk with him.
My favorite items on the menu are the firecracker chicken wrap, chicken fingers and fries (kids menu) and the parmesan crusted chicken. The firecracker chicken wrap is a spicy appetizer with scrumptious dipping sauce and chicken within the small wrap. The chicken fingers and fries from the kids menu are always crispy, tender and baked deliciously. Last, but certainly not least on my “favorite LongHorn food list” is the parmesan crusted chicken, which is chicken rolled in parmesan with a crunchy taste to it.
Isn’t your mouth just watering? There is a meal for everybody here, guaranteed! If you love your before-meal-bread, LongHorns has the best bread I’ve ever had. It’s always so warm and soft.
Inside the restaurant is decorated with lots of “out west” decorations. If you like that country feel, this is where you want to be! The service is top notch. They are all so kind and will do pretty much anything to satisfy you. Whenever I go they usually have great suggestions on what you should order. Unlike other restaurants, the managers are always are walking around the restaurant to see if everybody is having a good time. LongHorn probably has one of the better staffs top to bottom.
LongHorn is a chain, there are many of them throughout the country. Last time I was in Florida we stopped by the LongHorn in Orlando by the airport. Make sure to scan the QR code on the coasters, you will receive a free appetizer & automatically become a member of the LongHorn family. I hope to see you there sometime and make sure to tell them that the “Wormtown Junior Gourmet” sent you.
Lastly do not forget to order dessert.
