In the past when my mother-in-law would fly in from Florida, this would mean three hours to go to Boston and back or at least $100 to have someone else bring to get her. Last night, I left my business and ten minutes later I was inside ORH waiting for her. The flight arrived on time, we waited five minutes for her one bag, paid nothing for parking and ten minutes later we were home. By the way not only was the price of a ticket competitive, but again I saved at least $100 or 2 1/2 hours of times.
Let me address one flight that was cancelled during the month due to mechanical problems. I saw one person, may two, complaining about how bad JetBlue and ORH are because of this cancellation. If you fly, you know cancellations and delays are all part of the flying experience. S— happens!!!! To say that JetBlue and ORH are horrible because of a flight cancelled due to mechanical problems?? Give me a break.! If you really feel that way then book your ticket out of Boston next time and spend the money on tolls, parking and gas—not to mention your time.
Standing in baggage claim, I asked people if there were any empty seats and was told there may have been 3-4 maybe 5 empty seats. August 27th inbound from Fort Lauderdale at least 95% full. Lets just hope we get an announcement for new service this month and next month from JetBlue…
