When 19 year old Britney Gengel, from Rutland, Massachusetts died on January 12, 2010 in the Haiti earthquake, her family was determined to honor her memory and legacy.    From a text message that Brit sent her mom just three hours before the quake claimed her life, along with the lives of hundreds of thousands of others, her family found a sense of purpose:

“…I want to move here and start an orphanage myself…”

Her family has done just that! As you can see from above, the 19,000 square foot facility is shaped like the letter B – for Brit!
