Just a quick follow-up on their 1 Mercantile cafeteria. Evidently it was proposed in the initial plans and there was one called Fresh Express when it opened. It has since closed.
My real point was going forward, we should not let any developments downtown have any cafeterias, specifically in the old Telegram Building. At one time a 5,000 square foot eatery was being proposed.
It is important that we have people that work in these buildings go outside of their buildings and support the businesses and commercial tax base.
