I was looking at City Council Agenda from last Tuesday, specifically itemsalter 7 filed by Attorney Rodman for White Picket Fence:

Attorney Todd Rodman, on behalf of White Picket Fence LLC request amendment to Zoning Ordinance of the City of Worcester to allow the conversion of existing school buildings to residential uses in all districts (as attached).

What does this mean I am not sure?

I do know, however, that  White Picket Fence owns the school on Ararat Street that use to be the home of the Salter School.   I believe that if this  is passed then any school building would be able to be converted to residential uses as a “right” and would not have to worry about neighborhood objections or concerns.
