New England Revolution midfielder Steve Neumann and goalkeeper Brad Knighton will join fellow volunteers at Veterans Inc. in Worcester to serve dinner to homeless and in-need veterans, along with their families. The Revs are volunteering at Veterans Inc. ahead of a clothing drive the team is holding at its next home match on Saturday, May 21 vs. FC Dallas. Fans attending the game are encouraged to donate new or gently-used clothing items that will go to Veterans Inc.
This volunteering and clothing drive are part of the New England Revolution Charitable Foundation’s season-long Charitable Drive Series, which takes place at one home game each month to collect much-needed items for local charitable organizations.
Veterans Inc. is a nonprofit headquartered in Massachusetts and a national leader in ending homelessness among veterans, which has helped more than 60,000 veterans in need since 1990.
