After over three decades of serving the city, Police Chief Gary J. Gemme is retiring. Gemme, 62, announced his retirement Tuesday afternoon and sent an email to personnel in his department and to City Manager Edward Augustus Jr. notifying them that he will be leaving. His last official day is May 13.
