Earlier today, the Patriots called up TE Asante Cleveland to the active roster with Michael Williams battling injuries. At receiver, Danny Amendola’s status is in the air on whether he’ll travel to Denver to play against the Broncos. Even though Jamie Collins returned to practice on Friday, the Patriots are listing him as doubtful against the Broncos. After dealing with a virus for two weeks, the team doesn’t want to risk his health and rush him back. Even though the Patriots will be short-handed a bit at linebacker for the game, the ultimate goal is a healthy team going into the playoffs and getting the #1 seed in the AFC to assure a first round bye and not having to travel.
