The New England Revolution will be traveling to Orlando for a MLS showdown this Friday. Orlando City SC is competing in their inaugural MLS season, and what better opportunity for local area Revs fans to show the viability of Worcester Regional Airport than to fly down to Orlando and cheer on those Revs. We all would like to see more flight options out of Worcester Regional, but until the CAT III landing system is completed and running, which is still a few years from completion, we will most likely see no other expansion of new airlines or new routes from the only carrier out of the airport, jetBlue. Luckily one of the two routes jetBlue does offer is to Orlando. Also the Citrus Bowl is close to the airport with many hotels in the area. There are only a few flights left, so if you are reading this and still on the fence, DONT WAIT!!!
As of 7:30 pm Tuesday, according to jetBLue’s website, only 10 seats left available for the flight down to Orlando on Thursday , at $260 per seat For the Friday flight, game day, 13 seats left at $160 per seat. Prices and availability of seats not guaranteed so act fast if there are seats left. for anyone who might complain about the prices, I booked my round trip flight and hotel through the jetBlue getaway package deal, $370 total, saved $200 on my hotel by booking on the jetBlue getaway section, in January!!!
