A truck caught on fire Saturday on Interstate 290 in Marlborough right near the Solomon Pond Mall exit. No one inside the truck was hurt.
MARLBOROUGH – Smoke began to hover over Interstate 290 in Marlborough Saturday after a truck caught on fire on the westbound side of the highway near the Solomon Pond Mall exit.
No one inside the truck was injured. One driver stopped at the scene and tried to douse the flames with a fire extinguisher to no avail. Police and fire officials were called to the scene. The fire started sometime around 4:30 p.m.
