WORCESTER – Two Congressional Medal of Honor recipients received a special ride from Boston to Worcester Wednesday as they flew to the second-largest city in New England in a Black Hawk helicopter.

The two medal recipients, Col. Gordon R. Roberts and Staff Sgt. Ty M. Carter, landed at Green Hill Park with Lt. Governor Karyn Polito before heading off to Worcester Technical High School. The two men spoke to students about serving their country, the importance and school and other life lessons.
