WORCESTER — A water main break on Westminster Street in Worcester early this morning created a giant sink hole that for a time gushed water and flooded the neighborhood.
The Worcester Department of Public Works & Parks reported at 7 a.m. it did not yet have an estimate as to when the break would be repaired.
“We got it shut down. We’re up there working on it,” a spokesman said.
Freelance news photographer Matthew Gregoire tweeted several photos and videos of the geiser early this morning.
