Last week Kelyn Rowe scored two goals for the Revolution. They were the only two goal New England scored, but it was good enough for MLS Player of the week honors. After the game last week manager Jay Heaps had positive words to say about Kelyn’s performance against San Jose:
“I thought Kelyn was excellent, not just scoring goals but also the way he pressured, the way he played, his connection with Charlie up top, but also in the midfield, so I thought Kelyn tonight was excellent all the way around.”

Rowe would finish with 7 shots total in this game, a career high for him. Some of Rowe’s thoughts after the game about his 2nd goal of the game:
“It’s one of those where you gotta be aware, you know? You are inside the box on a free kick, anything can happen and Darius is always gonna get his head on the ball. As for me I was going to the near post, I turned around and it was there. It’s one of those you got to put it in the back of the net.”
