On Saturday April 25th, Citizens for Milford held a Beautify Milford clean up event. Over 150 volunteers came together and cleaned up over 200 bags of trash and several large items off of our streets. I myself filled up two bags in one hour of volunteer work. Earlier this week was Earth day, and what did anyone day about it? Hollywood elites and politicians all wag their fingers at us and tell us what it is that’s bad for the Earth and we must change our ways as they fly around in private jets. Meanwhile here in Milford, we came together and did something that meant something. We didn’t solve any issues, but our town is a little cleaner today because of our actions. If only other communities did the same. Would also like to thank the work crews from the Worcester County Sheriff Office.
