So the schedule was released today for the upcoming 2015 MLS schedule. For me, the big game was which day would the Revs travel to Orlando, one of two new franchises to begin play this season. With JetBlue offering one a day flight to Orlando, flight 1887, which is from Worcester to Orlando, should be full prior to game day with traveling Revs fans! For area Revs fans, this should be perfect! Short ride up to the airport, instead of driving to Boston, saving a bunch of money on taxi (ride tolls), time.
Also take a minute to update on Revs news:
- Diego Fagundez was selected to represent Uruguay under-20 squad for the under-20 south American championship. Seems like he will end up representing Uruguay, but not by choice.
- Nothing official yet about AJ Soares moving over seas to Italian side Hellas Verona, despite reports he was going to. His contract is expired
- Picked up forward Tristan Bowen in the Stage Two of 2014 MLS Re-Entry Process. Tristan will play for his 4th MLS team since making his MLS debut in 2009 for LA. Played for Seattle last season but unable to break into the squad, Tristan hasn’t had luck breaking into the starting 11 squad. When you play for Seattle, LA, it is hard to do that. He did play 1 year on loan in the Belgium second division in 2011/2012 season. With the Revs a little thin in the forward position, this could be a decent pick up.
- Revs also picked right back/midfielder Jeremy Hall. He was traded for in exchange for a 2015 4th rnd pick. Since making his MLS debut in 2009, he will be on his 5 mls team. He has played in 115 career mls games, 97 of them starts.
