Some information regarding the New England Revolution to update:
- The biggest off-season target of the Revs so far, Heldon Ramos, a 26 yr old Cape Verdean winger who plays for Sporting Clube de Portugal (SCP) and currently with the national team during the African cup of nations, has been target by his old club. Heldon for weeks has been linked to New England for a season long loan, due to his lack of playing time at SCP. But his old team, Maritimo, did have an option to loan him back, which they did exercise this weekend. Report out of Portugal early Saturday morning was that he had been loaned back, but reports surfaced later that the decision is his to make, which he has not yet. Still waiting for his response.
- Revs re-signed Teal Bunbury
- Revs traded their 33rd pick in the MLS draft to Seattle in exchange for forward Sean Okoli. Entering in his 2nd mls season, Okoli only made 3 appearances last season, totaling 19 minutes. (depth chart filled with forwards.) 3 seasons at Wake Forest he scored 24 goals and 9 assists.
- Diego Fagundez continues with the Uruguay under-20 squad in the U-20 South American cup.
- Jermaine Jones and Lee Nguyen included in the USA 23 man roster for a friendly vs Chile. Game will be in Chile this Wednesday 28th, 6pm et.
