We know this is not an exact calculation as to the number of tickets sold but it is all we have and gives a very good indication as to how they are doing. If you go on the JetBlueBestFareFinder site, you can find out which seats are available the next three days (Friday-Saturday-Sunday):
- Orlando: 7-12-16
- Fort Lauderdale 9-10-13
That totals 67 available out of the 600 which equals 88% load. Is this exact? No, but it gives us a good indication that sale are strong at ORH right now.. As far as diversions, we had two bad days right around X-mas, but other then that the last 3 months have seen very little with the schedule changes avoiding early morning and late night activity.
Our achilles heel continues to be the CAT III landing system, which JetBlue made it pretty clear that they need before any additional services are brought to ORH. In 2015, lets hope CAT III will become a reality.
