Chet Williamson, a blues/jazz harmonica player, writer, and radio host from Central New England, has captured the thrill of creating music on harmonica through the eyes and ears of a seven-year-old boy in the new illustrated children’s e-book, Jackson’s First Blues Harp. With his uncle’s patient instruction, Jackson’s imagination soars and his creativity sings, making for one happy harmonica holiday for Jackson and his multi-ethnic family. Jackson’s First Blues Harp includes more than a dozen colorful illustrations, and is geared toward children ages 3 through 9. The e-book is available from Amazon, Barnes and Noble, Apple iBooks, and other e-book sellers, and was designed to be viewed on a tablet.
In addition to his music activities, Chet Williamson is a former Arts & Entertainment editor at Worcester Magazine and author of The Jazz Worcester Real Book.
Chet is an accomplished blues harmonica player and a host on WICN, Worcester’s NPR jazz station.
