My name is Phil Barter (writer on Worcester Herald), my wife’s name is Patti. On January 31,2013 I rushed her to the hospital after getting call from a doctor telling me she had 4 hours to live if she wasn’t taken. She was suffering from renal kidney failure (both kidney’s stopped working). After a couple of weeks in the hospital she began doing dialysis at a clinic, there we were told of different options of home dialysis. We elected to go with Peritoneal dialysis. She is in the process of dialysis 13 hours a day, I suffer from liver disease myself, I am her care taker.
Patti is in need of a kidney,(she was in hospital from August 16 to the 23rd, she had to have surgery for infection) if your in good health and ever thought of giving the gift of life (we all have two kidneys, only one is required) I asked you contact Mass General transplant and ask to be tested to see if you match Patricia Barter. We understand this is a very big decision, yet here is a woman who needs help.
I thank you for reading this
