I can very easily see how people can become sick of these videos.   Let us not forget, however, what the Ice Bucket Challenge is all  about, striking out ALS.

We had the pleasure to meet Pete Frates about ten years ago when he was a group rep for Sun Life servicing our agency, Advantage Benefits.   He was fresh out of Boston College, just returned from a year (or two) playing baseball in Europe and was starting his business career.

What a pleasure to deal with, but he ended up changing territories and we lost track of him.   Vividly remember reading about him down at Spring Training with the Red Sox and how much his life had changed.  At the time, I do not think he was even 30 years old….

Truly amazing how much he has accomplished,  what an inspiration!!     So after the 1000th you watch the Ice Bucket Challenge and want to never see it another one,  remember why it is being done.
