Earlier in the week we heard how there were five finalists but the names would not be released. Our first reaction was why not?
Now this from Walter Bird and his Worcesteria Column:
“City Solicitor David Moore may or may not be in there – he resorts to one of his dead-panned jokes when asked – but Worcesteria hears he has made the final five”
Maybe that was the reason why they did not want to release the five names? Proponents for the Strong Mayor would push for him to fill the City Manager position, until they can get a Strong Mayor installed.
