My name is Phil B and I am going to be writing on Worcester 
recovery scene.
I hope to give the hope that I found to those in need and to expose to those unaware that there is life after people find the recovery process. Personally I was caught in the grips of addiction for over 2 decades, I told myself I was OK because I had a job, lived in a good neighborhood and I paid my bills The fact is I did that to maintain the look as I used behind closed doors.
The day came when I tried to stop, I couldn’t and I reached out for help. Although I didn’t believe it would work., twenty two years later I am still clean/sober and carrying the message of hope.
On a weekly basis, my column will focus on positive messages for the readers. I look forward as I begin this journey with you.
