The Worcester Sharks announced today that they’ve re-signed forward Jimmy Bonneau to an AHL Contract for the 2014-15 season. General Manager Joe Will announced the news, but the terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Bonneau, who will enter his fourth season for the Sharks, is a fan favorite for his physical style of play. The 29-year-old Baie-Comeau, PQ native has totaled 11 points and 355 penalty minutes in his three seasons thus far in Worcester. In his American Hockey League career, Bonneau has accumulated 121 fighting majors and 908 penalty minutes.
Bonneau will look to provide veteran leadership to a team that will be looking to make the playoffs for the first time since the 2009-10 season.
