Little overwhelmed by all the 70th anniversary of D-Day that I have read, heard on the radio, seen on TV and on social media. Makes you appreciate the various memorials you see around the City of Worcester.

To fully appreciate what we have done and maintained for the past 23 years – I scanned these old photos of what I/We started with in 1991 when we completely restored the Whitaker Sq. Memorial in Tatnuck Sq.

And the City of Worcester now intends to ruin it forever with their foolish plan for Mower St. – And if they do, why should we ever do anything for the City of Worcester again?
