The only reason I pick up the Sunday paper–Nick K.  He has been hitting it out of the park every Sunday.

Here is one line:

Commission member Elizabeth O’Callahan said the suggested changes are part of a continuing effort to focus on partnering with and supporting Worcester’s immigrant communities.  She said residents who are affected by decisions made by city boards and commissions should be able to participate in the process as well, if they so wish.

Here is my question, based on this premise then should not people who own property or businesses in the City of Worcester should be allowed to participate in the process since they are affected by decisions made by city boards and commissions, not just residents??

City Council always talks about ‘business friendly”, but they will not let non-resident business or property owners on boards.    Now we may let illegal residents srevice on these boards???
