It’s almost like Massport and how they owned Hanscom Field and Boston, before they took over Worcester Regional Airport (ORH),   How has that worked out?   As we analyze the numbers of the DCU in Worcester, our recommendation will be that we should at least put it out to bid through an RFP to see exactly what the building could return to the tax-payers of Worcester from an entity like the Massachusetts Convention Authority or some other private source.

To get some idea of the size of the Massachusetts Convention Authority, click here for the 2015 financials.    They ended the year sitting on over $805,000,000 dollars!!
