I have what is called “an addictive personality”. I can get obsessed over anything (I published over 1,000 articles here in a year) so something new brings it out. If I upgrade my cell phone I spend the first three days submerged in setting it up how I like it and then playing with new features. I started driving for Uber a couple of weeks ago, I have a limit on how much I can make monthly (set by me not Uber). The first two weeks were the last two in July, since I hadn’t worked the first two weeks of the month I had a larger window and I won’t sugar coat it,I was obsessed. Monday started week one of August and I reached my weekly goal in three days, now I have to put my new toy away until Monday. Looking at it from one view, I work 3 days part time and have the next 4 days off, on paper that sounds good, in this brain it is going to take some training. The city has yet to truly grasp the Uber concept, I remember when I seemed to be the only the only person I knew who lived paying with debit card and paying online. A box of checks last me well over a year (probably over two years). I enjoy technology, I love to play with things and understand how they can be used in my life. I had a watch that I could make calls get notifications on text and email as well as take pictures )it came in handy I’m February 2014 when my battery died on cell at San Diego zoo,was able to get some wonderful pictures with watch (I sold it soon after getting back from vacation, once playing with it I realized I had no practical use for it).

Getting back on topic, I have the itch to log on Uber and do more, I also don’t want to burn myself out so I won’t scratch that itch, instead I will stick to my set goal and enjoy my time off. I believe after getting into a groove that it will just become part of my life and working a few hours a week for a little extra cash will be cool. I hope to get some interesting tales to share with you as I drive so you may be my virtual fly on the wall as I Uber about.
