I started driving for Uber, I set myself a limit of making $30 a day. This is because of commitments at home and limits on how much income I can make a month. If you are unfamiliar with how Uber works, here’s the basic:you need a smart phone and the Uber app. You have to then setup an account tied to a charge or debit card. No cash is exchanged, on app you put in your destination and it gives you estimate of cost. Then you can click to setup a ride. Once the driver accepts you see location and can watch car come in real-time. You get a picture of your driver and driver has your name. Once in vehicle driver clicks begin trip and the drivers app gives turn by turn through voice, this makes it hands free and safe.
When you arrive at destination driver clicks trip completed, tipping is not required but are accepted. There are requirements to drive, vehicle must be 4 door and late model. License, registration and insurance proof is loaded up to Uber, they will perform background check before you are allowed to use driver app.
I will post any interesting stories should they arrived. If you are interested in becoming a driver direct message me on Twitter for code that gives me referral credit.
