Let me get this right, an employee of 7 years leaves their employer and bashes their ex-employer.    You are shocked to hear this?  Ask any employer if this has ever happened to them?    Better yet, we have to ask how any employee could have stayed here for 7 years under these supposed horrible conditions.  Although the comments from an ex-employee do not surprise us, the press coverage has.   The ex-employee should have brought her concerns to the Code Department on Meade Street, not the internet.

Last month the City of Worcester, who do a great job,  inspected Pho Dakoa and gave them a grade of 91% (picture of report below).   Ask any restaurant owner, if this is an easy inspection?    Today we stopped in and asked for the owner, told him how much we enjoyed his establishment the 5-7 times we have been there and that we understand how hard it is to run a small business.   We had to ask, however, if his sales been hurt by this?     Although he has been in business over 14 years and has a clean record with the City of Worcester, his business is off at least 15%.    Hard to believe!

Every day we read in the newspaper from politicians that we (City of Worcester) needs to be more “business friendly”.   Lets show it!!!

We challenge:

  • Local pols
  • Chamber of Commerce
  • Fellow business-owners, neighbors,
  • Worcester Local First
  • Anyone else

Stop in and show you #SupportPhoDakoa.   Even if you do not like this type of food, he has a full bar.  While you are their take a picture and post it.       Stand up to Cyberbullying!
